MANAGER – LOOK AFTER THE HEALTH OF YOUR STAFF
Managers play a primordial role in maintaining the motivation and the health of their staff.
Objectives : Know the factors which influence productivity and health / Be able to influence the commitment of staff / Observe rapidly any changes in the productivity or behavior of staff and be able to react appropriately.
MANAGING HEALTH WITHIN THE COMPANY
Working with the’ Institut Mensch in Komplexen Systemen MikS’ of the Fachhochschule Nord-West Schweiz we propose a training programme leading to a diploma (in German) : Certificate of Advanced Studies for specialists in health at the workplace.
Objectives : The development of better knowledge of working conditions as they relate to the needs of good health / The capacity to take position on matters relating to health at the workplace in front of the deciders / Knowing the tools available to aid in the early recognition of any menaces to employee health / The ability to put in place the measures necessary to reinforcing health and reducing its cost / The overall know-how to implement the management of health at the workplace.
PREVENTION OF MOBBING AND/OR SEXUAL HARASSMENT
Objectives : Define the mobbing and sexual harassment / Analyse its causes / Distinguish between the types of psychological or sexual attack there are / Be aware of the consequences of what has happened/is happening / Fit the issue into its legal context / Decide on what steps to take against the harassment / Examine how companies have handled harassment issues in the past.
IN HOUSE MEDIATION
Objectives : Evaluate how much we listen to others / Improve the ability to listen of those asking for mediation / Help the other solve his problem / Negotiate well / Manage the difficult situations arising in a mediation / Fix a working method which takes account of mediation experience of the past.
HANDLE DIFFICULT CHARACTERS
Objective : Define who is difficult / Understand where these people are coming from / Analyse the most difficult characters with reference to their positions / Decide which attitudes are the most appropriate to these characters.
